Brand Identity & Website
Client: Marisa Page, Skidi Parí LLC
Project: Brand Identity Creation and Website Design
Objective: Develop a brand and online platform that supports Marisa’s mission to advocate for and amplify Indigenous voices while educating others about Native American knowledge.
The Challenge:
Marisa Page, a Native American descendant (Pawnee/Ponca/Comanche), approached us with a powerful vision: to create a space that advocates for Indigenous peoples, provides authentic support, and educates the broader community about Native American history and culture. To bring her vision to life, she needed a brand identity that not only represented her heritage but also conveyed her passion and mission. Additionally, she wanted a website that would serve as a central hub for all things related to Indigenous knowledge and education.
The Solution:
We worked closely with Marisa to create a brand identity and website for her new business, Skidi Parí LLC, that would reflect the values of inclusivity, celebration, and authenticity while staying true to her cultural heritage.
Key deliverables included:
- Brand Identity Creation: We designed a logo that holds deep cultural significance, featuring the Wolf and Four-point Star, which are symbols of the Pawnee Nation, where Marisa is an enrolled citizen. We incorporated Indigenous art elements, ensuring that the brand identity resonated deeply with Marisa’s mission. The visual identity tells a story of strength, unity, and heritage.
- Color Palette & Visual Style: The chosen color palette—Turquoise, Hot Pink, Black, and Purple—were Marisa’s favorite colors and helped create a bold, modern design with an indigenous fusion style. These colors symbolize inclusivity and celebration, with each shade representing aspects of both Marisa’s personal taste and cultural identity.
- Website Design: We developed a user-friendly website that serves as a hub for all of Marisa’s advocacy work, educational resources, and support efforts. The site reflects the bold and meaningful design of the brand while offering a go-to destination for anyone interested in learning more about Indigenous peoples and Marisa’s mission.
The Outcome:
Through the development of Skidi Parí LLC’s brand identity and website, Marisa now has a powerful, cohesive platform to amplify Indigenous voices and share knowledge with the world. The new visual identity honors her heritage while making a strong, modern statement that aligns with her mission of advocacy and education.
